At GSK, we are on a mission to help people to do more, feel better, live longer.
We research, develop and manufacture innovative consumer healthcare products and are committed to widening access to our products, so more people can benefit, no matter where they live in the world or what they can afford to pay.
Today there are millions of people without access to basic healthcare, thousands of diseases without adequate treatments and millions of people who suffer from everyday ailments.
We want to change this. As a business we have responsibilities to society, and society has expectations of us. Our goal is to meet those responsibilities and expectations – and, where possible, exceed them.
In this context, GSKCH launched its “Mission Health” programme which is in alignment with United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and Government of India’s National Health Policy.
Mission Health is a national movement for GSKCH’s which is in line with our philosophy and goals to address the need of the country, engaging with key stakeholders and linking brands with purpose, cause and focus.
Under Mission Health, we are focusing on:
Neglected tropical diseases
Projects / programmes under Mission Health are designed taking into consideration the need and demand from the community and implemented through credible NGO partners. The programmes are long term in nature and this approach will help Mission Health to create sustainable impact by linking with other programmes particularly government schemes and engaging with all key stakeholders.
