Naveed Ahmad is a part of the India leadership team of GSK Consumer Healthcare and is also responsible for Expert Marketing for all categories. He joined GSK in 2008 as a Brand Manager - Horlicks and worked on the snacking segment. He launched Horlicks Foodles and has worked on the biscuits portfolio. He then took over the role of Marketing Manager for Horlicks Extensions portfolio. He also delivered strong double-digit growth while re-launching Junior Horlicks and Women’s Horlicks with new consumer propositions. Naveed worked on Base Horlicks and successfully led the ‘5 Signs of Growth’ re-stage campaign.
In 2013, he was selected for the Esprit Program and did 3 rotations internationally working in the Global Oral Care Category in UK; then as a Regional Marketing Manager for the Wellness Portfolio for South East Asia and finally as the Channel Director for Modern Trade in Malaysia.
He moved back to India as the Region Head for North. In this role, Naveed was instrumental in delivering high double-digit growth in H1 2018, making North the fastest growing region in the country with significant gains in Market Share and distribution across all key brands. He also led the People agenda in the region passionately.
