GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Corporate Financial Awards May 2013 v2 wins Best Corporate website award has won Best corporate website at Communicate Magazine’s second annual Corporate & Financial Awards The award was announced at an event which took place in London on 18 June.
The Corporate & Financial Awards celebrate excellence in corporate and financial communications within the UK.

GSK’s global external online channel, redesigned last year by agency Radley Yelder, beat a shortlist of four other company websites including: Anglo American and Telecity Group to the award. Judges, which included experienced in-house practitioners, professionals from leading communication agencies, analysts and financial journalists, highlighted the “innovative and interesting use of home page and imagery that made access to a lot of information very easy and clear.”

This accolade comes less than a month after we climbed 15 places to 10th position in the 2013 FT Bowen Craggs Index of Corporate Online Effectiveness, an annual ranking of the digital presence of 84 FT Global 500 corporations (ranked by market capitalisation).
