Boost attempts to create a new Guinness world record at Aircel Chennai open 2017!

956 young champions have set a new Guinness world record for the largest tennis lesson at SDAT Stadium, Chennai!



New Delhi, 09 January, 2017: Boost, one of GSK’s leading brands in the Health Food Drinks category, has associated with India’s most prestigious tennis event, Aircel Chennai Open. With this association, Boost has taken its communication platform of ‘Play A Bigger Game’ to a LIVE event where it actually gives kids a chance to Play A Bigger Game through the activation of Play The Pros @ Aircel Chennai Open 2017 that took place on 3rd of January, 2017. As part of this activation, kids got an opportunity to learn, interact & play with the leading tennis players from across the world.


With this activation of Play The Pros @ Aircel Chennai Open 2017, Boost attempted a new Guinness World Record title for the largest tennis training lesson by gathering 956 young champions at Aircel Chennai open 2017.  956 young champions clustered at SDAT Tennis Stadium, Chennai on Tuesday, for a tennis training session with players & coaches in an effort to beat the 2015 record of 803 achieved by Northern Vision (UK), in Liverpool, Merseyside (UK), as “the largest tennis lesson”. While the Guinness World Records may take up to some time to decide, the participants are confident that they have set a record and successfully put India on the world map for this achievement.  As part of the event the kids got a chance to play with the leading tennis players like Leander Peas and Rohan Bopanna.
