Boost attempts a new Guinness record at Premier Badminton League with the Team of Hyderabad Hunters


Olympic medalist Carolina Marin trains young enthusiasts as they attempt to create a new Guinness Record for the largest Badminton lesson at Pullela Gopichand Academy


Hyderabad, 10 January 2018: Boost, one of GSK Consumer Healthcare’s leading brands in the Health Food Drinks category, has associated with Premier Badminton League team Hyderabad Hunters. With this association, Boost has taken its communication platform of ‘Play A Bigger Game’ to the next level with a LIVE activation that gives young kids a chance to Play The Pros @PBL 2018. As part of this activation, youngsters from across south India got an opportunity to learn, interact & rub shoulders with Olympic Gold medalist, Carolina Marin as well as other badminton aces from Hyderabad Hunters, such as Sai Praneeth & Satwik Sairaj.


As part of this activation, Boost attempted a new Guinness Record for the largest badminton lesson with a participation of more than 400 young champions at the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy. These badminton prodigies thronged the Gopichand Badminton Academy to meet their idol and take on the world for the largest badminton lesson.

The brand’s association with Hyderabad Hunters is a perfect example of bringing alive this promise wherein kids from across South India were invited to participate in a contest that helped them win the opportunity to Play The Pros as part of the biggest badminton league in the country. The best performer basis the contest will also get a once in a lifetime opportunity to hone his/her skills at the Pullela Gopichand Badminton academy in Hyderabad with an exclusive one year training scholarship from Boost.
