At GSK Consumer Healthcare, we are committed to extending volunteering opportunities to our employees in order to create positive change in our communities while providing individual development. Our employees devote their time and expertise to create positive change in our communities around the world. This gives them an opportunity to get to know some of our partner organisations and develop professional skills in challenging environments. In return our partners benefit from strategic planning, operational improvements and enhanced communications. Our two flagship volunteering programmes are Orange Day and PULSE.
Orange Day gives our employees one paid day off each year to volunteer for their chosen local community project. This year, Consumer Healthcare curated Orange Day under the theme sanitation & dengue awareness. The main objectives of the event was to create spirit of volunteering among employees by giving them opportunity to associate with a social cause. Employees from all locations were encouraged to participate in various activities such as cleanliness drives, dengue awareness, wall painting, hygiene, and skits / role plays.
